ABOUT US.

Abbotsbury School is a registered Independent School for children aged 2 to 7 years.

The School was established in 1960, it has created and maintained an excellent reputation, for providing nursery education and childcare, within a secure and friendly environment.

Our aims are to prepare children for the next stage of education.  This may take place at rising five or at seven years of age.  The first term at a junior school can be a daunting experience, we aim to make that transition as smooth as possible.  We want our children to believe that if that was school, I want more of it.

The School is a large Victorian villa located within a secure stone wall, housing two play area, one with outdoor play equipment, a play house, plus an area for general exercise.

As the School backs onto Forde Park, we invariably use the park for events such as our Sports Day, a Teddy Bears Picnic, Nature Walks and a variety of other activities.
